Liane Blyn | Unlock Your Potential: Career Paths in Strength and Conditioning

Liane Blyn, Director of Sports Performance at Arizona State University, will be delivering a webinar on "Unlock Your Potential: Career Paths in Strength and Conditioning". This will include a Q&A.

Liane Blyn has over 25 years of experience as a strength coach, athletic trainer, business owner and world class competitor in Powerlifting and Strongwoman. She is currently the Director of Sports Performance-Olympic Sports at Arizona State University. At ASU she directly works with Men's Ice Hockey and assists with a variety of other teams. Prior to her recent return to ASU (03-05), she was the Director of Olympic Sports at Appalachian State University. Liane has also been an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Arizona State, Boston College and University of Nevada-Reno as well a director at Franklin High School, Poliquin Performance Center & Parisi Speed school. Blyn also founded and operated her own Sports performance business-Athletic Based Training in Massachusetts. Blyn has trained athletes at all levels including many past and current athletes in the NFL, NBA, NHL & MLB. Blyn was recently named the 2022 NSCA collegiate Strength Coach of the year.


Liane is a 14x USA Powerlifting Drug free National Champion, 12x National team member, 4x IPF (International Powerlifting Federation) World Champion, 3x World Games competitor as well as a world record holder in the bench, deadlift & total over her long history with the USAPL and IPF. Her best lifts are Squat-247.5kg, Bench-192.5kg, Deadlift-228kg and Total-663.5kg. Liane also represented to United States in the 2003 ESPN’s World Strongest Woman Competition. She is a graduate of Endicott College and Miami University (Ohio). She holds


certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association CSCS & RSCC*E, National Athletic Trainers Association, USA Weightlifting , Precision Nutrition and is a USA Powerlifting certified National coach.
