IUSCA
Endorsment
The IUSCA, in collaboration with the IQF Independent Regulatory Council (IQF-IRC), offers a robust framework to endorse, certify, and regulate courses in the strength and conditioning (S&C) field.
Not all courses and certifications in the S&C industry are equally valid. It is therefore essential to check for official endorsement and regulation by recognized authorities such as the IUSCA and IQF-IRC to ensure the quality, credibility, and global recognition of a program.
Course & Internship Endorsement: The IUSCA evaluates and endorses courses and internships that meet its high standards of content quality, delivery, and professional relevance, ensuring participants receive education aligned with global best practices.
IQF Certification: Endorsed courses can be certified on the International Qualification Framework (IQF), providing clear recognition of their alignment with standardized levels of education and professional competency. This certification ensures that the course’s content meets international benchmarks, making it globally recognizable.
Independent Regulation: The IQF-IRC provides external oversight, offering an impartial and transparent regulatory process. This ensures that courses adhere to rigorous standards and maintain their integrity, quality, and alignment with the needs of the profession.
Together, the IUSCA and IQF-IRC support the development of courses that contribute to the continuous improvement of S&C education while fostering trust among students, educators, and employers worldwide. Look out for the IUSCA and IQF-IRC mark to ensure certified standards in education.

Independent Regulation
Developed through extensive research and collaboration with prominent stakeholders, including Ofqual, the European Commission, UNESCO, USDE, CHEA, TEQSA, and ASQA, the International Qualification Framework (IQF) serves as a cornerstone for fostering transparency, consistency, and mobility within the strength and conditioning (S&C) profession. The IQF provides a comprehensive global standard, harmonizing S&C certifications, qualifications, and educational programs across diverse contexts.
To safeguard the integrity and credibility of this framework, the IQF-Independent Regulatory Council (IQF-IRC) manages its robust self-regulatory structure. The IQF-IRC's responsibilities encompass the evaluation and verification of qualifications, accreditation of educational programs, enforcement of compliance with established standards, resolution of appeals and disputes, and promotion of continuous improvement to reflect emerging trends and innovations in the field.
The IQF employs an eight-level categorization system, aligned with distinct stages of education and professional development. This structured taxonomy ensures clarity and uniformity in the interpretation of S&C credentials on a global scale, facilitating international recognition of qualifications and providing clear pathways for professionals to advance at every stage of their careers.
Engagement with the IQF and adherence to its standards help professionals, employers, and educational institutions to drive excellence in strength and conditioning education and practice. This collective commitment supports the ongoing enhancement of this independent regulatory framework, ensuring it remains a benchmark for quality and innovation worldwide.
