About Accreditation
Accreditation by the IUSCA recognises and supports the advancement of skills and education in Strength and Conditioning (S&C). The IUSCA Accreditation program has established a profile of skills that employers will be able to recognise in coaches and practitioners with IUSCA accreditation.
These qualities include:
- The ability to utilise scientific thinking in a variety of contexts
- Breadth and depth of knowledge within S&C
- The ability to write and communicate with clarity and effectiveness
- Demonstrated technical abilities
- Significant experience as a practitioner (2 years’ full-time)
- The ability to review and evaluate their own and others' practice and performance
Satisfactory completion of the IUSCA Accredited Degree Course will result in the candidate being awarded a title of Accredited International Strength and Conditioning Practitioner (aISCP).

How can I find an IUSCA Accredited Institution?
To gain aISCP status and complete vocational qualifications during your studies, follow these steps:

Enroll in an IUSCA Degree Accredited Institution: Choose a sports performance and exercise science program that has been recognized for its excellence by the IUSCA.

Complete Your Degree Program: Successfully complete your degree program, meeting all academic and practical requirements.

Apply for aISCP Status: Upon graduation, apply for aISCP status through the IUSCA, showcasing your commitment to excellence and expertise in sports performance and exercise science.

Pursue Vocational Qualifications: During your studies, seek out opportunities to complete Level 2 and Level 4 vocational qualifications in your areas of interest, further enhancing your skill set and employability.

Accredited Membership
If you graduate with a 2:1 or higher in an approved course then you will automatically receive provisional Accredited Membership to the IUSCA. This provides all the benefits detailed below and allows full member status to be confirmed following 1 more year of professional development.
