About Accreditation
Accreditation by the IUSCA recognises and supports the advancement of skills and education in Strength and Conditioning (S&C). The IUSCA Accreditation program has established a profile of skills that employers will be able to recognise in coaches and practitioners with IUSCA accreditation.
These qualities include:

- Breadth and depth of knowledge within S&C
- The ability to write and communicate with clarity and effectiveness
- Demonstrated technical abilities
- Significant experience as a practitioner (2 years’ full-time)

If you graduate with a 2:1 or higher in an approved course then you will automatically receive provisional Accredited Membership to the IUSCA. This provides all the benefits detailed below and allows full member status to be confirmed following 1 more year of professional development.
