The IQF Level 4 Certificate in Strength and Conditioning for Basketball is the world's first basketball specific S&C qualification. This provides sport specific learning and certifies individuals as competent practioners within the elite basketball environment.

About the Course
Welcome to the IUSCA IQF Level 4 Certificate in Strength and Conditioning for Basketball.

This course has been designed to enhance the strength and conditioning (S&C) specific knowledge of those involved in the sport of basketball. This is ideal for current S&C coaches, basketball coaches and assistants, sport science students, and physiotherapists. Using the International Qualification Framework (IQF), this course is rated at Level 4.
​
This course has been developed by leaders within the field of basketball performance at the elite and international level. It covers all of the key areas of understanding and delivery of S&C within basketball. There is also extended webinar delivered content by Andrew Langford (GB Basketball, Basketball England, Sheffield Sharks), Stephen Bird (New Zealand Basketball, Basketball Scotland), and Michael Hill (Georgetown Basketball).
Throughout this course there are a number of readings, videos, and short tasks to complete. There are also short quizzes along the way to help solidify your understanding.

The course has approximately 48 Guided Learning Hours (GLH), with approximately 80 hours of supplementary learning/assessment time, giving a total of 128 Total Learning Hours (TLH).

At the end of the course you will receive a Certificate of Completion, or you can choose to carry out an independent assignment to gain an IQF Level 4 Certificate in Strength and Conditioning for Basketball.
